Job Description
Candidate should be Graduate / Post Graduate
10 - 15 years (relevant experience of minimum 5 years on a large scale)
Should be from channel sales background with lots of exposure to successful making / expansion of a channel
Should have managed a team of 4 - 5 manager
Excellent communication skills
Should have a sound knowledge of geography / demography of these regions
Should be excellent at understanding the Channel sales business and its intricacies
Candidate should be from Tourism B2B domain. Outside of travel related domains, retail sales folks from the telecom industry (3rd/4th telecom player in the region as they would be familiar with the challenges of a new entrant in a market entrenched with strong exiting players), hotel industry & electronics industry
Signing up agents across the region (south and west) into the Affiliate program
Set targets across products
Drive sales & achieve targets
Foster existing relationships and develop new ones
Collect data on competitor’s activities
Launch and run loyalty programs in the region
Suggest necessary marketing activities
Candidate will be responsible for managing 3 - 4 states in these regions and will report into the National Head
