Job Description •
Candidate should be Any B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc/M.Sc
• 4-8 yrs of experience
• Must have experience with EMC, SAN and System Administration technologies noted below.
• HDS and HP experience is also desired.
• 1. EMC Expertise: -
• a. Minimum of 2- 3 years hands-on experience storage allocation, interpreting results, and identifying configuration issues
• b. Minimum of 2-3 years hands-on experience with ECC
• c. Familiarity with SAN Advisor (future tool)
• d. Minimum of 2-3 years - configuration knowledge of: Sym7.5, Sym7, Sym6, Sym5, Clariion
• e. Minimum of 2-3 years experience with CLI (Perl, SSH)
• 2. SAN Switch Director Expertise :-
• a. Minimum 2-3 years experience with Cisco switch directors - this is our primary type of SAN switch.
• b. Brocade
• c. McData
• d. Minimum 2-3 Years using Fabric Manager
• Sound understanding of FOS releases and independences
• 3. System Administration Expertise -
• a. Minimum of 3-5 years of UNIX system administration experience
• b. SUN Solaris, AIX, HPUX, LINUX
• c. Strong experience with path software: EMC Power Path, VERITAS DMP
• d. Ability to logon to a server to identify pathing software & version, driver levels, type of HBA, AIX ODM version
• 4. HDS Expertise -
• a. Experience with Device Manager
• b. Experience with Storage Navigator
• c. Knowledge of HDS 95xx series, AMS1000, USP, USP-V, NSC-55
• d. Strong experience utilizing HDS's website
• e. Ability to manually assess interoperability issues with HDS SAN arrays and UNIX / Windows servers
